Megan, 30, Kansas

I am writing today about one of my very best friends, Megan. Whoever Megan ends up marrying is going to be one lucky man, and maybe it is somebody from the Singles Day link up! :) She has come to mind as I have seen this day advertised, mainly because she is SUCH a catch! She is the type of girl that people think, "How in the world is she still single?!" Megan and I met in college and were roommates when I was in graduate school. I can't say enough wonderful things about Megan!

Here is Megan with my sweet daughter! 

Not only is Megan beautiful on the outside, but she is more beautiful on the inside. She loves the Lord fiercely and is always working towards His will for her life. Megan's relationship with the Lord is the most important thing in her life, so that will be the most important thing in her dating relationship as well.

Megan is an elementary school teacher and she is great with children! She is phenomenal at her job and is always being recognized and winning awards. She is the kind of teacher that every parent hopes their child will have! She cares about her students and goes way above and beyond to make sure they have a terrific experience in her class. She loves to cook, be active, watch sports, be with others, travel, and so much more. 

Megan is fun and FUNNY! Megan loves to laugh and doesn't mind to laugh at herself. She has an infectious laugh and when you are around her you just can't help but smile! Megan has come to visit us since we moved to Tennessee twice, and they are some of our very favorite memories. She is Aunt Megan to my daughter and we feel so lucky that my daughter and soon to be son will have her love in their life! She is always up for an adventure and having a good time with the people that she loves!


I joke with Megan about this, but she will make the best wife! Both times when she has come to visit me, she ends up serving me the whole trip! She is super clean and organized, cooks like a chef, and will just be a terrific wife to one VERY lucky guy! My husband and I joke that she can whip up an amazing dinner in like 10 minutes, and you don't even realize she is doing it because she carries on a conversation with you the whole time, even asking you questions so she can hear from you. She is so organized- and has a servant's heart, so she loves to help me who is not so organized! The last time she was here, she spent days doing our laundry and going through clothes helping me decide what we could donate- which was 13 bags! That was her vacation, but she wanted to help someone she loved.

Megan is incredibly thoughtful- she is the friend who never forgets your birthday, always sends a thank you note, she cares about people. She takes the time to foster relationships with others. When you are talking to Megan you feel like she has all the time in the world for you- because she is truly listening, and will follow up with you weeks later to check in.

I am so blessed to have Megan as one of my very best friends- and like I said, anyone will be lucky to date and marry Megan one day. Megan's heart is to be married, and I can't wait to see her story unfold!
